Surespan Construction introduced concrete and steel deck portable bridges in the mid-1980s. The bridges were primarily sold to the forestry industry because of their affordability and low impact to the environment.

Nowadays, Surespan Construction supplies and erects portable bridges for forest product & industrial companies, pipeline construction firms, engineering & construction management companies, real estate developers, small municipalities and home owners.
